santosh - learning so far
respected sir,
I am santosh kumar jha. During the first weak of design methodology course I learned an important lesson that designing is not as simple as it sounds glamorous. It is the steady process of learning, innovating and implementing the possibilities which can help our life batter - in another way I understood, that this weak gave me the chance to find out the possibilities in both cases-
(1.)When a free sky is available to fly with pre-concepts for obtaining best possible results- through comb designing exercise.
(2.)When searching new possibilities and then work over it’s improvement in accordance with it’s values, application(s),easy to use, form, shape, material(s), etc are paying important role in designing – through wooden latter opener as I worked with.
Study of one’s body actions and other related activities, possible behavior etc are paying very important role for a designer when he is designing a product. The product is also expected to be more friendly with the environmental factors- as observed through the ice-cream exercise. - It was before(above 2nd ) exercise. I would careful when working on the above 2nd exercise to make myself more familiarize with these lessons in application.
Sir, your method to remember our names and studying probable ways of our thinking by ourselves was really an excellent way of trouble shooting developed by you. especially when we entered into a group, - to know the group of ever new persons is a very difficult task. As I think, to know about new one’s “key-impotents”(eg-our worst fears) enables to familiarize us with our responsibilities about them.- Sir, as I think that this method will help me to know more about the consumers, crafts persons, marketers and other groups which will come in my contact in my forthcoming design profession.
Finally I am satisfied with my course internalization. but honestly I want to say that in initial classes I had so many understanding problems, still now I am not very clear about some of the points.
thanks.
yours obediently ,
santosh kumar jha
