veenu - learning so far

Respected sir,

The week had been a great learning experience for me. Initially the memory game helped me to sharpen my concentration, we had to repeat the fear of my friend and than include mine, I started to identify my own fear and was able to admit. I could know my friends better, and develop skills to communicate and understand each other in the process of the game. It has amplified our team spirit and sharing has made the group more cohesive.

The knowledge of a method in developing a design has helped to increase my observation power, to come up with wild ideas and seek opportunities. We were to identity a product which is worth Rs.10 and which is interesting also. Then we discussed the interesting qualities of the product in prospect of the users and buyers. Now I understand the essential role, the designers play in the design process of a product.

Comb designing exercise has helped me to identify and understand the requirements of the users. To look for opportunities and innovate a product which is worth million dollars. Improvements and wild ideas help in creating a product different and unique. In the whole exercise I learned that even the most absurd and wild ideas may look practical but cannot work out well.

We learned to encourage wild ideas and broadened our outlook after we watched the movie. I understood the importance of team spirit and enjoyed working in groups. Now in the coming weeks I wish to experiment more and to gain more practical knowledge.
